Photographers want to have good relations with models they hire, or work with in workshops. Having a great reputation can lead to referrals, working on more projects, and collaborating with models. In this workshop, we will discuss how to find and hire local models, pay rates and forms, model releases, and then cover giving direction, terminology, and posing techniques for the best results. Participants will receive examples of all paperwork, including model releases, resources, and lists.

Missy Loewe has spent 15 years learning about and practicing photography. She holds a law degree, with intellectual property and contracts for visual artists as a specialty. She is the official photographer for the Virtual Pose book series, and has photographed for and written numerous books, including “Doing the Right Thing: Models Rights and Responsibilities”.
