Staff Missy Loewe is the president of the board of Capitol Arts Network, and Academic Dean of the Washington School of Photography in Bethesda, Maryland. With over a decade of arts administration and educational planning, and degrees in management and law, she presents courses in business and marketing for artists throughout the DC area. She lives in Gaithersburg with her husband, three cats, and a Border Collie named Redford. Joe Yablonsky is a fine art photographer based in Crofton, Maryland. His photographic interests include public sculpture and architecture throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic states. His work has been shown in Washington DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, and Philadelphia. Joe teaches introductory through advanced photography classes at the Washington School of Photography in Bethesda, and at Anne Arundel Community College. You can see Joe Yablonsky's work at www.JoeYablonsky.com. Joe previously worked in the aerospace industry for nearly 15 years. He has built and tested a wide variety of space systems, including advanced communications satellites and replacement components for the Hubble Space Telescope. Joe holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a mathematics minor from the Pennsylvania State University. Judith Heartsong has been painting and muraling for more than 30 years in private residences and public spaces. She served as the Membership Chair for the Orlando Chapter of The Women's Caucus for Art, worked on the committee to organize the Winter Park Autumn Art Festival, and has planned, organized and hung countless juried shows. In addition, she spent one year as an Artist in Residence at an elementary school where she painted murals with more than 200 PK - 5th grade students. In 1993 one of Judith's paintings was presented to Hillary Rodham Clinton at President Clinton's first inauguration and in 2003 Judith painted a large mural at The National Zoo. In 2008 a series of signed, limited edition prints were commissioned and offered for sale on Princess Cruise Line, and as of 2009 her limited edition prints are now offered on the Cunard Line Queen Mary 2. Also in 2009 her acrylic painting, Peacock Crimson was licensed by Transformational Threads for their first anniversary limited edition series of thread paintings. She will continue her work as a muralist and painter in the DC area, and will consider both mural and painting commissions. Her studio and gallery is located in a newly refurbished property in Glen Echo Maryland, just a short drive from Bethesda.
