Are you ready for the phone call asking for your bio, artists statement, or resume? Do you have a draft template of a press release ready to roll out? What if you need to reach out to a reporter, a gallery, or another business opportunity? When asked for basic promo information, the press or the agent is not willing to wait while you spend days at the computer. Instead, spend the day with Judith HeartSong and Missy Loewe, forming and fashioning promo basics for artists. With decades of combined experience, they will present tips and ideas for the best resume, brief bio, artist statement, press release, and letter of inquiry. You will be given examples to craft into your own finished products, work through exercises to assist in knowing what to say, and break through the promotional writing barriers.
